What Does P. H. L. Do? Education—We Provide: · Speakers for churches, service clubs, schools on life/death issues such as abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, embryonic stem cell research, etc. · Resources (such as videos, brochures, etc.) for students and others who seek information for term papers, speeches and personal knowledge. · Information and educational materials at the Farm Show in Butler each August · Quarterly newsletter outlining current pro-life activities and pending legislation.
Legislation—We Endeavor to: · Work with our elected officials on issues relating to protecting pre-born babies. · Survey candidates on their positions relating to various aspects of abortion prior to Election Day. · Provide information to churches and other groups to help them determine their elected officials’ position on key issues and legislation.
Service—We Help: · Coordinate January Washington D. C March for Life. · Coordinate responses to legislation and pro-life events. · Provide library packs of pro-life books to local public and school libraries. · Organize Mother’s Day tribute in the Butler Eagle. · Provide help in training Lifeline Crisis Pregnancy volunteers. (see Action Items for more information about Lifeline) · Pray
